It’s that time of the year. No it is not Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, St Patty’s Day or anything else fun.
Today starts the first day of “Both Kids Are Sick And We Are Stuck In The House” season. Oh Joy!
Last night Wildman who usually is easy to put to bed and goes to sleep quickly must have called me to his room no less than 20 times before falling into a fitful sleep. I thought at first it was the candy and stimulation of Halloween but my “Mom Spidy Sense” told me it might be more. I woke up at 3:00 AM and he was whimpering in his sleep and I thought for sure he’d be up. When went into his room this morning I touched him and he was burning up. When he got up he seems fine except for a 102 fever and wanting to sit on my lap.
Baby A woke up crying this morning. He seemed ok once he got up. He ate breakfast and seemed fine. Twenty minutes after breakfast he walked into the kitchen and told me he didn’t feel well and threw up on my foot. Wow my day is even getting better and this all happened by 7:30AM.
My living room is set up like a preschool. We have a chalk board, legos, cars on the quilt set up like a town, the play animals on the love seat, and the only way to get to the kitchen is via a tunnel. We actually left the TV off for over 2 hours. They got bored and Diego went on.
I really can’t wait to get to work this afternoon. I might even have a drink tonight.
I seriously am thinking about posting once a day for NaBloPoMo. I guess this is my first day!
