When I was with the band the feelings of the crowd were readily known. They either liked you and slam danced or jumped up and down with fevor or they stood there and looked at you like a deer in headlights or walked out. Whether the response was positive or negative you had a general idea on what your audience thought and wanted. It you played a balls to the wall song and the crowd went wild you knew to shuffle the songs on the fly to include the more balls to the walls stuff. If the crowd responded to the subtler stuff you adjusted as well.
Becoming a Mom has taught me to enjoy feedback that is not as tangible. Blogging is so different than the band. I throw stuff to the void. Sometimes I get a response other times I do not. It is ok, I just like the outlet and don’t require alot of interaction. I am still curious. I know about four or five of my real life friends read here regularly, which is cool with me. I can see from my stats there are about four or five people who stop by regularly who I have never met. How exciting! That someone actually stops by to hear me gush about my redheads. So, you four or five people. I need your help. I want to succeed with NaBloPoMo but I am running out of material and I need a few topics to pontificate on when I have had only 2 hours of sleep. I have a few idea’s. This is where you come in. What do you want to know? Tell me about you? What can I write about that will tickle your fancy? Ok Gang…. Knock Knock……………….Who’s There…………………….
