You guys are bent on being anonymous. Well If you ever want to delurk I am dying to know who you are.

I have been a bartender on and off since 1989 or so. It is something I am really good at which is funny since I am not a big drinker. I decided that every Saturday for at least the length of NaBloPoMo I will post a drink recipe that either my colleagues and I have discovered or recipes we make regularly. My disclaimer………..I never measure anything. My bar is very busy and we hand pour everything. I will try to include some measures but I eye everything.

The Wide Awake Drunk

Over ice in a tall glass pour in order:

- 2 Count Razzmatazz Raspberry liqueur

- 4 Count Any Flavored Vodka of Choice. My favorite this month is Vanilla Stoli. It smells great.

- Fill to brim with Red Bull (my stay awake favorite)

 

Do not mix, serve layered like a Mind Eraser shot. Insert a long straw and drink through the straw like a shot.
