My boys joined the swim team this year.  Ryan is old enough but Aaron was nine days too young to join.  I pleaded Aaron’s case over the winter and they let him join.  Yesterday we went to get the bathing suit.  Aaron’s bathing suit was the smallest they made and it was still big! Both boys were mega excited so we took the kids to the indoor pool to try out the suits.  They were so cute and excited abou it all.

Tonight is the first practice and I am so sad not to be there. The team starts indoor practice in May and then have the meets and practices outdoor after mid June. The Flyers have a big game tonight and I have to work.  The addition of swimming added so much to our already packed evening schedule.  I had to get Ryan’s homework done and feed them dinner.  I packed them a huge snack knowing after practice they are going to go straight home to bed because practice nudges into bedtime.

I am starting to think that breastfeeding and getting up in the middle of night might have been easier than getting them to Plymouth Meeting at 6 pm four nights a week. Let the sports team insanity begin.
