My day has been fluffy and sweet like pop music. It is a rarity. Everything went right. Public welfare started my morning with a phone call to tell me they finally figured out via the paperwork I brought them that Aaron, in fact does not have secondary insurance. Presto, the flurry of medical bills that have been arriving will now disappear. I went hiking with a friend, then came home to do the usual cook, laundry, work routine.
I picked up the kids and we did the homework. Ryan had more than usual because of a big math test tomorrow. He was a trooper and did the review on his own! Since swim team is over till stroke and turn clinic starts on March 1st, we took a bike ride to a park because in my sweet fluffy land there is no winter, nor is there global warming. We played on the swings, rode bikes, and played a rousing game of hide and go seek. We stayed at the park until a bright fat full moon rose up over the trees.
We came home and ate dinner and I actually had the time to clean up. The kids got ready for bed and asked to revive an old tradition called “tickle time”. We used to do this when Ryan was first diagnosed with ADHD. If the boys put on their PJ’s, and brushed their teeth I would run after them madly fulfilling the boys need to be wild at bedtime. We were crazy running about laughing and tickling.
My works too late husband actually arrived in time to see the boys before bed and tuck them in. He and I chatted as he ate his dinner. Now I am back to work. I actually have to write a guest blog post titled, “Top 5 Celebrity Couples Bound to Break Up”. Yeah, it does not get any fluffier than that. May tomorrow be a day with more substance.
