I made the drive with the kids and we are here on eastern Long Island. The boys have been very well behaved. They got silly the last 15 minutes of the drive up but heck at that point they had been in the car for almost four hours. Since arriving they have been like little angels. We talked about what was expected of them for days before. No fighting in Grandma’s house, no screaming inside the house but outside is fine, gentle with Grandma’s she is 80, follow the rules at the retirement community pool which includes no splashing or jumping in from the side. Why the retirement community has so many rules is beyond me.

Tomorrow we may see my sister. She is out of the hospital and she may com out here to my Mom’s or we will go to her for a short visit if she is up for it. I have a full day planned for the boys.

Ryan is in bed but keeps popping out to tell me how afraid he is of everything in the room.  Hopefully, he will sleep if not we are going home tomorrow night.
