When Ryan was seven he was obsessed with the movie, Shark Boy and Lava Girl.  It is one of the weirdest, trippy movies I have ever seen.  We must have watched the movie in snippets about 500 times because in this house when Ryan gets obsessed, he is obsessed.  That Halloween my husband stayed up till 3am finishing the shark boy costume that Ryan desperately wanted.  Good thing my husband made it because me I am not the costume parent. . He was very into the trippest kid movie ever made. We talked about it ALL the time.  Over breakfast, before bed, and in the car.

Aaron is now seven years old and has an intense thing for sharks. We watch old versions of Shark Week on Netflix all the time. Yesterday he made me put on the Shark Boy and Lava Girl movie.  Both boys fell in love with it ALL over again.

I am off to get horizontal before I go to work again.  Guess what we are watching again.
