So I got a job working with Philly Kids Things yesterday.  I was all excited and happy not to be that stay at home housewife that I could never be.  Today I got on a Google hangout with my girl Cecily from Uppercase Woman.  She then mentioned she needed some help because her workload was getting to be too much and did I want to come on board again with her.  Of course, I said yes.

It is amazing to think that for as long as I have been in Philly I have worked. I have been offered work and I have always been able to make a living.  I have always afforded a place to live, eat, and clothes. As soon as things have seemed bleak for me a job would show up and before too long I was back on my feet again.  I am so fortunate in this time of people struggling without work for long periods of time.

I don’t need to work more than I do at the bar but mentally I need to work at more than the bar, but suddenly I am working full time.  I am so excited, like I won the lottery. I can work with flexibility on two of my jobs but how incredible to double my hours in two days and still be there to take the boys to their appointments and activities.

Amazing.
