The boys school has a tradition of Friday being NUT day. If you want to get out of wearing the uniform on Fridays you bring in a dollar for the Home and School Association which is like the PTA.  The Home and School does nifty things with the money like pay for the buses for field trip and stuff like that. When the kids wear uniforms all week they get VERY excited to wear what they want to school.

This morning we had a little extra time and the boys asked if I would give them faux hawks.  They were going to wear their new skinny jeans that they got from my in-laws for Christmas.  They looked like little scensters going off to school those boys. Worth the dollar.
