I keep two in my purse for myself and back up for my son and my son wears one at all times. I highly recommend these: http://www.kozyepi.com/ They’re durable, come in a lot of choices and my son doesn’t even notice he’s wearing it and has happily worn it for 5 years now.

There are times when hope is definitely overrated . It is annoying to have them assess and assess and do nothing. Like, save the assessment money and apply it towards something proactive, no? Ugh. It’s a little like with allergies…they test and they test, but it doesn’t change anything…I know it’s different, but sometimes it feels the same when you’re in for yet another blood draw (they used to want to see us twice a year and I was finally like, no, once a year is enough disappointment).

I know that frustration from trying to get medical care and assistance. Same deal- keep pushing it around. The problem is that it doesn’t go away. It only gets worse with each move to hold on to funding for whatever agency.
I’m sure it is even worse with a child with Ryan’s unique wiring. It is criminal that we as a society shutter what we don’t want to see and only collectively pay for what is in our selfish self interest. Even in that, there is still hope- if only a glimmer. You’re supposed to feel like this. It’s called being a human being. God bless.

I stick to mixes for this reason. I swear it saves money (and heartache) in the end. There are some good ones, like Cherrybrook Kitchen that work well for rolling out and making cute shapes…even the gluten/dairy/egg free ones work well by some miracle?!
